Biotechnology and public health are one of the most emphasized issues in the educational and health policy of the European Union
The professional qualification and skills of people working in this field nowadays need innovative knowledge on the public health aspects of biotechnology and the current methods for quality control and diagnostics based on molecular biology
The project aims at creating а broad platform for education VET policy in Biotechnology and Public Health. It includes stock information, resource analysis, as well as innovative learning opportunities embedding the recent trends in the field. The project offers an educational opportunity for collaborative training at European level and promotes the European strategy in education and public health. The structure is a Transnational Network (TN) within a group of partners and potential users, acting as a Virtual Training Center (BT-Health) in the field of public health and biotechnology.
Our targets are easily recognizable:
- young graduates and undergraduates;
- employees and managers from SMEs, whose qualification and competence need updating;
- specialists, responsible for the educational process within different institutions – R&D bodies, SMEs, NGOs and governmental structures, and other social organizations and manufactures.
The HealthBiotech project hopes to contribute to the society’s efforts and to share its experience from the challenges it has taken.
